Woodward, Okla. —
The Woodward Pregnancy Center will be hosting its annual concert Sunday night at the Woodward High School Auditorium.
"This will be our 19th annual fundraising concert," said Belva Mabra, director of the Pregnancy Center.
The concert will feature the Christian Rock band Sanctus Real as its headliner as well as the bands Unspoken, Bread of Stone, and JJ Heller. Funds raised during the concert will go toward the benefit of the pregnancy center.
"We offer everything from free pregnancy testing and counseling to parenting classes and about anything else a pregnant woman and her baby could use," Mabra said. "And thats what the money raised will go towards funding.
"We chose them because they have a good message, especially JJ Heller, a lot of her messages are oriented towards teenage girls. Each band also has really good music."
Mabra encouraged people to come out to the event saying they'll have a chance to enjoy a wonderful evening of music while at the same time supporting the pregnancy center and the services it provides.
Plenty of tickets are available and chances of snow have been taken out of the forecast for the weekend and sunny skies are predicted for Sunday.
"Things like this don't come out to Woodward often, a lot of youth groups from surrounding communities will be there, so it'll be a great time for teenagers and young adults to get together," Mabra said.
The concert will take place in the Woodward High School Auditorium on March 10 at 5 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at itickets.com, by phone at 1-800-965-9324, or by stopping by Paradise Books in Woodward. Those purchasing tickets online or by phone can also purchase VIP passes that include early entrance, VIP seating, and a meet and greet with the band Sanctus Real.
