Woodward, Okla. —
Two people have filed for school board offices in Woodward County on the first day of a 3-day filing period.
On Monday, Carol Bradley filed for another term as the Zone 2 representative on the High Plains Technology Center Board of Education and Wendell Brandenburg filed for Office No. 4 for Mooreland Public Schools.
There were no candidate filings for the Woodward, Sharon-Mutual or Fort Supply School Districts.
There were also 2 filings in Harper County on Monday. Dustin McAtee filed for Office No. 4 of Laverne Public Schools and Bradley L. Harmon filed for Buffalo Public Schools I-4, Office No. 4.
There were 3 filings in Ellis County, but all from Arnett. Rocky West filed for Arnett Office No. 4, while Jeremiah Campbell filed for an unexpired term in Office No. 1 and Russell Miller filed for an unexpired term in Office No. 2.
No candidates filed for positions in the Shattuck, Gage or Fargo School Districts.
Candidates have until 5 p.m. on Wednesday to file with their respective County Election Board.
