Contract, requests on county agenda

Woodward News

Woodward, Okla. — Woodward County Commissioners are due to deal with a contract and some requests during Monday’s weekly meeting.

The commissioners meet at 10 a.m. in the courthouse.

On the agenda is a contract between the county and Todd Peach for communications tower space.

Also on the agenda is a couple of requests from the District Attorney’s Bogus Check office.

The first is asking the commission to forego the May rent - an item tabled from last week because the DA’s office didn’t have everything ready.

The second is a request for assistance with moving expenses. The office is currently located at the county fairgrounds but will be moving to a new office building on 34th Street.

Commissioners are also going to take up a fair housing resolution and will consider approval of a location on South Highway 270 for Wheeler Rental and Mobile Home
