Woodward, Okla. —
If approved Oct. 8, the bond issue would spend $1.850,000 over a five year period to totally refresh the transportation infrastructure for Woodward Schools, Reynolds said. This should provide the district with reliable transportation for the next 10 to 20 years, according to Craddock.
1. The bond would purchase two to three route (yellow) buses with air conditioning per year for five years.
2. The bond would purchase one activity or Boomer bus per year, for five years.
3. The bond would purchase one to three lower volume vehicles, such as an Excursion or small car per year for five years.
4. The entire transportation arm of the bond will be paid for in five years with bond sales throughout that five year period.
