Equipment disposal big part of county agenda

Woodward, Okla. — Woodward County Commissioners will primarily address numerous resolutions regarding the disposal of multiple items from the Woodward County Sheriff's Department inventory, Monday during its regularly scheduled meeting.

The meeting is held at 10 a.m. in the courthouse.

Commissioners will consider the transfer of at least one vehicle from the Woodward County Sheriff's inventory to the Ellis County Sheriff's Department inventory.

The inventory list includes several vehicles belonging to the Sheriff's Department, as well as other items that are valued at more than $500. Each item must be approved for disposal by the commissioners.

Commissioners will also take action to approve or disapprove the sale of a 2004 Chevrolet pickup from the Woodward County Sheriff's Department inventory.

Commissioners will consider the approval of the use of Woodward County Equipment in the remediation of Quinlan Rural waterlines.

At 11 a.m., commissioners will consider bids for the goat or sheep pens with gates that are intended to complete the Woodward County Fair Building project.
