Local schools set Christmas program times

Woodward, Okla. — Students at all Woodward schools are busily preparing for their upcoming festive Christmas programs.

The first local programs of the season will be held at the Woodward Early Childhood Center on Dec. 13.

The show times are based on what teacher each child has as follows:

• 8:25 a.m. - Gravitt/Bryant kindergarten classes, Scott-Chambers/Whipple 1st grade classes

• 9:15 a.m. - Haney/Stahlman kindergarten, MacDonald/Lambert 1st grade

• 10:20 a.m. - Long/Hamilton kindergarten, Boone/Littau 1st grade

• 11:10 a.m. - Overton/Richmond (De La Cerda) kindergarten, Balch/Rose 1st grade

• 12:55 p.m. - Stone/Devine kindergarten, Hoock/Slager 1st grade

• 1:45 p.m. - Pryor/White kindergarten, Shirley/Morales 1st grade

All the elementary schools will be holding their programs during the last week of school as follows:

• Horace Mann Elementary

    - Dec. 18: 2nd grade at 9:30 a.m., 3rd grade at 1:30 p.m.

    - Dec. 19: 4th grade at 9:30 a.m., 5th grade at 1:30 p.m.

• Highland Park Elementary

    - Dec. 19: 2nd grade at 9 a.m., 5th grade at 1:30 p.m.

    - Dec. 20: 3rd grade at 9 a.m., 4th grade at 1:30 p.m.

• Cedar Heights Elementary

    - Dec. 20: 2nd grade at 8:30 a.m., 3rd grade at 9:30 a.m., 4th grade at 10:30 a.m., and 5th grade at 1:30 p.m.

The Woodward Christian Academy (WCA) will also be holding its Christmas program the same week, with all grades performing together on Dec. 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the WCA auditorium.

At Woodward High School, the vocal concert will be held on Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the WHS auditorium and the band concert will be held on Dec. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the WHS auditorium.
