Area woman injured in wreck

Woodward, Okla. — A Chester woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident in Woodward County Tuesday.

Jaznee Danielle Chance, 22, was taken by private vehicle to Seiling Municipal Hospital where she was admitted with head injuries and listed in good condition, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. She was then transferred to the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

The OHP report said Chance was driving east on a county road about 9 miles east of Mutual and due to an unknown medical issue crossed the center line, departed the roadway to the left, then overcorrected going back across the road and going off the road to the right. The OHP said the vehicle came to rest after going through a fence.

Chance was wearing a seatbelt the OHP said.

Trooper Jake Sawatzky investigated the accident, which happened around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
