Woodward, Okla. —
A public hearing will be held at Tuesday's Woodward County Commission meeting concerning a request from R&L Financial Solutions for the rezoning of a tract of land to the southeast of town.
The commission meeting will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19 since county offices will be closed Monday in recognition of President's Day.
R&L Financial Solutions is looking to rezone a quarter section located a couple of miles to the southeast of the Highway 270 and Highway 34 junction from general agriculture to general industrial.
County Clerk Charolett Waggoner said, "There will be a public hearing and afterwards they (county commissioners) will tend to the actual request itself as wether to approve or not."
The county board is also slated to sign financing documents from the Stock Exchange Bank on behalf of the Woodward County Fire Department for a V.T. Hackney Rescue Truck.
"They'd opened bids on that already and awarded the bids, and now the Stock Exchange Bank will be doing the financing on the truck so they're bringing in the paperwork to be signed," Waggoner said.
The county commissioners will also be dealing with a correction on a utility permit request from Glass Mountain Pipeline, LLC in the southwest part of the county.
"The original utility permit was in the northwest corner of the land and it needs to be in the northeast corner," Waggoner explained.
The commissioners will act on a pipeline crossing in District 2 in the southeast part of the county as well.
The agenda also includes review of the monthly jail reports from November and December 2012.
