OTHER BUSINESS

In other matters, commissioners are slated to consider renewing the city's annual professional services agreement with Accurate Environmental Services.  Information in the agenda packet states that the contract would be renewed at the same $2,000 per month retainer fee for services related to drinking water and wastewater treatment systems.

Commissioners will also address a proposed ordinance that will increase the compensation for the municipal judge from $3,000 per month to $3,250 per month.  The ordinance would also set a 2-year term for the municipal judge to serve between Jan. 1, 2013 and Dec. 31, 2014.

The city leaders will also take time Monday evening to present 25-year service awards to those employees who have dedicated a quarter of a century working for the city.
