Woodward, Okla. —
A Sharon woman died as the result of a 2-vehicle accident in Woodward County Monday afternoon, said the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Elizabeth Enox, 62, was pronounced dead at Woodward Regional Hospital after being taken there by ambulance with trunk internal injuries from the accident, according to the OHP report.
Enox was driving her pickup south on State Highway 34 and was attempting to make a right turn onto County Road EW 55, the OHP said. The pickup was struck from behind by another pickup driven by Todd White, 55, of Vici. White was not injured, the OHP said.
According to the OHP report, Enox was not wearing a seatbelt and White was.
The accident happened around 2:35 p.m. about 4 miles south of Sharon.
Trooper Charity Robertson investigated the accident with assistance from other troopers. Area fire departments responded to the scene as did Woodward County EMS, the Woodward County Sheriff's Department and Air Evac Lifeteam.
