Commission to meet twice

Woodward, Okla. — Woodward County Commissioners will hold a pair of meetings this week.

The commissioners will meet in regular session on Monday at 10 a.m. for a few items, then hold a special meeting to review the 2013-2014 budget on Tuesday at 1 p.m.

Both meetings are in the Woodward County Courthouse.

The meeting on Monday doesn’t offer up a lot of agenda items.

In fact, the only major action item is considering the tabulation of a bid for livestock panels and gates for the Woodward County Fair Building.

Commissioners opened the bid at their Sept. 9 meeting, but put off a decision until it could be looked over by the Woodward County Public Works Authority. The bid was from Preifert Livestock Equipment for $64,459.88.

Other items are routine unless new business pops up.

On Tuesday, commissioners will review, discuss and possibly approve the county budget prepared by Putnam & Company, PLLC.
