Fall-A-Days starts Friday

With the holidays right around the corner, its time again for the K101 Fall-A-Days Festival.

As the trade show continues into its 21st year, it promises to prove as popular as ever, according to Shawn Miller, show director.

“Everything is sold out,” Miller said, noting that booth and vendor space will be packed both inside and outside the Woodward County Fairgrounds during the three-day festival.

The Made in Oklahoma section will be returning for its fifth year, he said, noting that Oklahomans from both near and far will be displaying their homegrown products and talents in this special section. Featured products vary from cheese and wine to unique western art and decor.

There will also be all kinds of retail booths to “get everybody in the mood for Christmas shopping,” Miller said.

Whether you are in the market for big items like recreational vehicles or you are looking for something a little smaller, something that might even fit into a little velvet box, you can probably find it at Fall-A-Days, he said.

“We have a little bit of everything here,” he said, noting you can find everything from clothing to jewelry to hot tubs to boats for sale at this year’s festival.

If you just want to try a tasty treat, Fall-A-Days promises to satisfy as well, Miller said, noting that there will be all kinds of food vendors at the festival from those serving up delicious deserts to those offering state fair favorites.

There is also plenty on offer for young visitors to the festival, he said, noting that “there will be rides for the children out front,” including a bungee jump and a mechanical bull. There will also be an airbrush tattoo station, he said.

The event is open to the public and browsing is free, except for the Made in Oklahoma section, which has a $2 entry fee, Miller said.

“We want everybody to come out and enjoy it,” he said.

Fall-A-Days kicks off on Friday, when it is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The festival continues Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon until 6 p.m.
