Upcoming Easter events

Bridget Bese

The Woodward Elks Lodge and the Woodward Moose Lodge has joined forces once again and will be sponsoring the town easter egg hunt Sunday.

The egg hunt will be at Crystal Beach Park at 1 p.m. Easter Sunday and children ages 1 to 13 are invited to attend.

The Easter Bunny will also be on hand for photos, said Jack Pierce of the Elk Lodge and the Moose Lodge.

Participating children will be divided into four age groups for the egg hunt and there will be cash prize eggs hidden with the regular eggs, said Pierce.

The Elk and Moose Lodges have hosted separate egg hunts for many years and have collaborated their efforts for the past five years.
